Keep yourself hydrated

Water is like ‘amrit’ for your skin. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water every day to keep your skin supple and hydrated. Avoid cold drinks and replace them with water, coconut water, fresh juice as they help remove toxins.

Rose water and glycerine moisturizing lotion

It is one of the best moisturizing and anti-ageing lotions. It is a good source of antioxidants which helps in reviving skin tissue. It reduces wrinkles, rejuvenates skin complexion and moisturizes your skin deeply.

How to make & use: Wipe your face with rose water. In a bowl mix equal amount of rose water and glycerine and with this lotion softly give yourself a facial massage. If you feel a little sticky, wash it after around 15 minutes.

Natural Green Tea & lemon facial toner

This toner (also used as facial mist) will give your skin a natural glow and slows down the aging process. Green tea has antioxidants which repair the damaged skin and prevents pimples. The acidic properties of lemon juice make skin complexion better.

How to make & use: In a bowl take a half cup of green tea water and add 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice to it. With a cotton ball wipe your face with it 2-3 times daily. Pour it in a spray bottle and keep it in the refrigerator and once it’s cold use it as facial spray whenever you want.

Yogurt, sandalwood & lemon mask

For glowing skin, you can use a homemade mask with natural ingredients like Yogurt, sandalwood & lemon. The lactic acid in yogurt makes skin smooth and sandalwood lightens dark spots.

How to make & use: In a bowl mix 1 tbsp yogurt, 1 tsp fresh lemon juice and 1 tbsp sandalwood powder. Apply this mask on your face and leave it to dry. Give your face a gentle massage and wash off the pack after 15 minutes.

Egg face mask

Egg contains a specific protein which makes skin youthful. The potassium in egg retains skin moisture.

How to make & use: Beat an egg in a bowl and apply the mixture to your face and neck. Wash off after 15 minutes.

Papaya and Honey Massage Cream

This homemade massage cream can do wonders to your skin by lessening the fine lines and making your skin rejuvenated. Honey helps in moisturizing skin and also it has anti-ageing ingredients. Papaya is full of vitamin C and antioxidants that make the skin glow.

How to make & use: Take 2 tbsp papaya pulp in a bowl. Add 1 tbsp honey to it and mash the mixture well with a spoon. After cleaning your face apply the mask and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Once dry, dab wet cotton on your face, give facial massage and then wash off with cold water. After that rub ice cube on your face and apply some moisturizer.
