You must have seen Green Goblin in Spider-Man movie riding on a Hoverbike and wished to possess that ultimate vehicle. Even the idea of riding a hoverbike fills us with the thrilling excitement, what if it turns into reality? Well, that piece of fiction had turned into reality when Russian Start-up Hoversurf unveiled world’s first fully manned Hoverbike Scorpion-3.

Hoverbike Scorpion-3 has a unique design, which combines the standard motorcycle design with the quadcopter technology. The rider can manoeuvre the vehicle completely using the throttle and other gear similar to motorcycles. According to the manufacturer, this vehicle is currently seen as an extreme sports instrument, but the company in coming time will realise its transport potential.

The Hoverbike Scorpion-3 is powered by an electric engine and capable of reaching the heights of 10 metres. The vehicle can be operated on automatic and manual function keeping the professional and amateur rider in mind. For those who are concerned with the safety of the vehicle, the company has powered the hoverbike with the flight controllers, special logical programming, computer aided speed, and altitude control. The Hoverbike Scorpion-3 can travel at the speed of 50 kilometres per hour with a load of around 120 kg.

The Hoverbike Scorpion-3 is not the only hover vehicle the manufacturer has made so far. They have showcased an aircraft prototype, which could be controlled by a remote and manually by a pilot. The project is currently crowd funded, and if tested positive for a market launch, then the estimated price of this vehicle will be around $150,000.

The company has released a video on their YouTube channel hoversurf official showing the successful attempt of lifting and moving the vehicle. The platform of Scorpion-3 will be used in different applications. The company is planning to use this basic design in manufacturing heavy cargo drones and a flying car concept. A Chinese drone company E-hang is also using the Scorpion-3 platform on the flying taxi fleet in the city of Dubai.

You must be excited to get your hands on this Hoverbike and take it high up in the air. All you have to do is waiting for it to reach the showrooms in the market to own this beauty.
